at the same time
celebrating its existence
Making lanterns
of twigs and paper
Fire Parade winding through the narrow streets at dusk
... with island band, the beat goes on and on and on ...
Ending by taking you to the huge bonfire on the beach
signalling some message (each year a different one)
sparks fly from huge piles of collected driftwood.
Beware of black and white tights on fire
and island herons
The band continues into the night
